The task: price, pay and reconcile at the rate people actually use

A company that imports, exports or pays foreign suppliers in Uzbekistan works with more than one rate: the official one, the bank one and the street one. They rarely match, and the gap changes from day to day. Finance teams need to see that gap, record which rate they used, and feed it into price lists, invoices and reports without copying numbers by hand from chats and screenshots.

How the index helps

The index shows today's street rate for the som next to the official rate, so the premium is visible at a glance, and it keeps the history for checks and reports. Each figure carries a confidence class and the number of sources behind it, so you know how far to rely on it. It is built from transaction-based market data and quotes from independent public market sources. You can pull it through the API into your accounting system, spreadsheet or pricing tool.

Questions from finance and procurement teams

What is the street rate and how is it different from the official one?
The official rate is set by the central bank. The street rate is the rate at which people actually exchange cash and digital dollars in the market. The index shows both side by side so you can see the premium.
What do confidence class and source count mean?
They tell you how well a figure is supported. A higher class and more sources mean the figure rests on broader evidence. A lower class means you should treat it with more caution.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You can start with a free API key and move to the Starter or Pro plan when you need more requests, history or faster updates. See the plans below.
Is this financial or investment advice?
No. EMpulse is a data service. It reports the rate and how well it is supported; the decision on how to use it stays with you.
