EMpulse

The street rate of your payout currency, as one number a day

EMpulse gives remittance and payout teams in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan the rate people actually pay, not only the official window.

The task: price corridors and reconcile payouts against the real market

If you pay out in local currency, the official rate and the street rate can sit far apart, and that gap decides your margin. Treasury needs one defensible daily number per currency to price a corridor, and finance needs the same number to check what was really paid out. Without it, each team picks its own quote and the reconciliation turns into an argument.

How the index fits a payout workflow

EMpulse publishes a street exchange-rate index against the US dollar and USDT, built from transaction-based market data and quotes from independent public market sources. Every figure carries a confidence class and the number of sources behind it, so you can see how much weight it deserves before it reaches a price list. You pull it through the API with a free key, and use history to compare payouts with the market on the day they were made.

Questions from payout and treasury teams

What is the street rate?
It is the rate at which people actually exchange cash and digital dollars in a country, as opposed to the official rate set at the bank window. EMpulse publishes it as an index against the US dollar and USDT.
Which countries are covered?
This page is about Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Coverage of currencies keeps growing, and each currency page shows its current confidence class and source count.
How do I know how reliable a figure is?
Every figure is published with a confidence class and the number of sources behind it. If the class is low, you see that directly and can decide how to use the number.
Can I use it to reconcile past payouts?
Yes. The API returns history, so finance can compare the rate applied to a payout with the street rate on that day. The plans below show how far back each level goes.
Where does the data come from?
From transaction-based market data and quotes from independent public market sources. The methodology page explains how the index is built.
